Basic Coupon Terminology/Lingo

BASIC TERMINOLOGY

Q- Coupon

MQ- Manufacturer coupon

SS- SmartSource insert found in the paper

RP- Red Plum insert found in the paper

PG- Procter Gamble insert found in the paper

IP- Internet Printable Coupon (Coupons you print from the computer)

WYB- When you buy

FB- Facebook

Stacking- Using one manufacturer coupon and one store coupon on one item. Not all stores allow stacking.

B1G1, BOGO- Buy One, Get One; Buy one item, get the second one free.

$5/$20- Make a $20 purchase, get $5 off.

Match ups- When we take a store’s weekly sales ad and match it with available coupons. MAX savings.
SS, 8/28- Smartsource insert (from newspaper), in August 28th paper *This is what you will see in match ups.

RP, 10/28- Red Plum insert, October 1st paper

PG, 10/28- Procter Gamble insert, October 28th paper

EXP- Expiration date

ECBs- Extra Care Bucks (CVS); print ot on the bottom of receipt after purchasing a certain item

RRs- Register Rewards (Walgreens); print from Catalina machine

Peelies-Coupons on product packaging

Blinkes- Black boxes on store shelves that have coupons

Tearpads- Coupons on tearpad in store

Hangtags- Coupons hanging on item

IE- Internet Explorer browser

FF- FireFox browser

Coupon Fraud- Yes, there is a right and wrong way to coupon, please follow store policies~
